#2 You should be able to add AOL programs to the exception list in AVG, although im not sure where that is, a member of the security team will probably know.

Also are you using the "Free" version of Avg as the "exception list", is not available in the Free version.

If push comes to shove, and you are using the free version, you may want to take a look at avast free edition; pretty solid, and I don't think it causes any conflicts with AOL.
