i thought the internet connection was slow.then when i opened firewall.there i saw as host was blocked.then i unblocked it.
when i first started to use firewall,it did that same thing........then later for somedays it didnt block any site unnecessarily.....
now once again it started to do that.
Iam using Quick Heal Firewall Pro
Now it is not blocking some sites because i set its rule to -------Allow most
by default it was------------Rules wizard
but i think using firewall rule to --- Allow most must be no use.then it cant block any other threat if comes from internet.
So,using that rules wizard how can i set it to not block good sites unnecessarily ?
Usually the Wizard will ask you each time you view a site if you want to allow it or not.
With most firewall apps you will have to tick a box for it to 'remember' your choice.
For the already blocked applications...right click the firewall icon in the bottom right of your screen and choose Open/Show/ something like that.
Go to a page which lists the blocked/allowed sites. Right clicking a blocked site should let you change it to Allow.
IMO it doesn't sound like you have a very good firewall. Here is a much better one that gives you less hassle and only asks you which processes you want to block and it does the rest for you:
