Problem connecting to VPN
CarstenSchuette 12.12.2007 19:47 Hi, I am using Windows networking to connect to our company's VPN. It's an pptp VPN and worked fine some weeks ago. Today it did no longer work, and I do not know why. It looks for me like some of the packets I should received are blocked. PING does not work. Even when I deactivate KIS firewall, the VPN does not work. Any ideas?
I am using KIS 7.0.1.299. RadarpSP 12.12.2007 20:23 QUOTE(CarstenSchuette @ 12.12.2007 17:47)

I am using KIS 7.0.1.299.
You must check if port 1723 tcp and protocol GRE (udp 47) are allowed in the router or firewall.
If you close all Kis, works? CarstenSchuette 12.12.2007 20:31 QUOTE(RadarpSP @ 12.12.2007 19:23)

I can connect, the port is open. The rule for PPTP is also active. And I receive broadcasts from the remote network. But I cannot ping, do DNS lookups or access other servers. When I deactivate KIS, it also does not work. When I uninstall KIS, it works fine.
