PLEASE HELP (Hips: error code: 00000000)
SDAVID 11.12.2007 22:14 I installed today KIS 8.0.0.89. After reseting for the first time, KIS started OK, with the "green" signal informing perfect function. After 10 minutes, the green signal turned to red, informing "security is at risk", with 2 items highlighted in red:
1) Protection Status: "Some protection components failed to start automatically. You are advised to contact Technical Support Service for problem investigation. Failed component is Hips".
2) Proactive Defense & Firewall: "Hips: error code: 00000000".

Thank you both for answering me! Here is the new situation:
1) I re-started the computer, and suddendly KIS worked ok. No "hips" messages at all and "green signal" is OK informing "Computer is protected".
2) The problem is that I ran several firewall tests and KIS 8.0.0.89 din't pass! Every test failed!
3) I uninstalled KIS 8.0.0.89 and installed normal KIS 7 and this last one worked perfectly passing all firewall tests.
4) Again I uninstalled KIS 7, re-installed KIS 8.0.0.89, green signal was "ok", again tried many firewall tests... and KIS 8 dind't pass!
It seems that the firewall KIS 8.0.0.89 capabilities are not working at my computer. Green signal is "ok" informing "all protection components are enabled and are working in a normal mode", however firewall is not working, and I have not idea if the other capabilities are working at all!
Please, can you help me?
